Strong mentality neededThe good thingsI received the most hands on experience here as a student out of all KPJ Hospitals I went. The senior radiographers are nice and the communication between departments are good with excellent teamwork. Lots of celebrations are celebrated here and generally every supporting staff here are kind and professional.
The challengesThe only cons in radiology department is the HOD. Has a really bad temper with micromanagement issues. Would push your mentality to the end and won't have issues screaming, ridicule and mocking at you in front of everyone including patients and staff. If you are a fresh graduate working here, be prepared to get mocked instead of guidance by HOD if you get a rare case. He would even call you outside of working hours just to scream why there are no hospital gowns available. Before I left, 2 radiographers wished to leave and in the process of finding other jobs due to stress.
