Kreston John & Gan (Megan Avenue)
The good thingsHQ in Megan Avenue office. - colleagues here are friendly and helpful and less politics; - have few PIE, opportunity to handle listco, IPO and other special jobs; - proper audit and issued qualified opinion - reasonable OT, travelling and medical claims allowed; - financial supports for study ACCA; - internal trainings that eligible for CPD hours (approved by MIA); - pay bonus - always can walk to bosses room and ask for coaching; - frequently have new jobs, luckily partner accept it based on resources
The challenges- Need to handle a few listco and lead teams; - need to research for latest MFRS, no time to do such research; - staff come and go, need to teach them quite often; - high expectation on working papers especially need to print out, sometimes printer and computer break down. - though not required to work on weekend, sometimes still need to rush work at home during peak season - Suggest management to hire IT staff or outsource IT

    Small medium audit firm
The good thingsgot listed company client, which is a very good exposure compare with other small medium audit firm. Wont too stress due to client base not that much.
The challengesPoor career development, no training provided, bad staff promotion policy and unclear hierachy level. It is because company had no planning on expansion. Everything need to learn by your own.

The good thingsKreston John & Gan is a small medium audit firm, you are able to learn the audit process from \"Head to Tail\". Since you have to learn the audit from \"Head to Tail\", the experience you can gain here is COMMUNICATION, how to make the works perform efficiently. Mostly importantly, this company has a friendly environment and no office politic.
The challengesNumber of employees of this company is range from 20 to 40. So the most challenge part is \"what make you different from the others?\". If you are outstanding, you will involve more on more challenging assignments with the guidance from seniors. For those not so outstanding, training will be provided as employees are the image and reputation of a company.
