The good thingsProvide clear timelines for jobs to be done. Employees are appreciated during CNY (bonus). Some departments have a strong support system. Learn to manage stress and multitask for the school. Opportunity to learn new skills when engaging in co-curricular activities.
The challengesFull schooling days every alternate Saturday. Low annual increment plus low starting salary. Staff meetings are conducted in Mandarin and non-speakers sit through it as well as wait till after meeting for a translation. Book Checking entails 50 students x 4 books x 4 classes Min 200 essays with detailed marking a month due to large classes (50 students in a class).
