Paid to ReadThe good thingsYou got paid to read, it's like you got paid to breath, for someone who just loves reading, which fortunately, I do. I worked with good people and made few good friends while working there. The MD was very sporting and like to build up good relationship between all employees, regardless which department you are working in. So, there, everyone knows everyone.
The challengesMy immediate supervisor is a people-pleaser, so you will find that you're overwhelmed with works that is not yours.
The pay is just average and increment is not much. Though it is an international company, it does not reward its employees as an international company should. This company also has gone for 3 cycles of retrenchment for the past 9 years. The perks of the job also kind of average, nothing fancy.
