I had very bad experience working in finance department as an account assistant the senior staff is not very helpful especially for ENE Selangor everytime get scolded when asking questions or did anything wrong always show face and not willing to help the new employee.Lack of professionalism! There is no opportunity for fresh graduate to learn and growth. Seniors always judge without investigate the situation and always listen to one side(person).
The good thingsClaims and company activities .
The challengesNeed to learn everything by yourself even it's stated that training is provided. Everyday have to face the supervisor attitude which make me stress and depress cannot concentrate in work. The training provided just teach to copy and paste and follow the old formula. The new staff faces problem because of this!

The good thingscan meet a different types of customers and increases my confident in communication.
The challengesMust know to communicate and must achieve a target every months and seasons eg:during chinese new year must sales a angpau voucher depend on target. Having a fixed customer that can help achieve target. Lastly, money must balance otherwise pay by ourself if less.

Nice place to work if you like money
The good thingsMagnum provides good pay but average increment. Bonus is more than what you get outside. You get new workstations and also proper tools to complete your tasks. Workload is still manageable and HR is one of the best there!
The challengesChina man company will have china man style politics. Usually easy to dodge these kinds of politics. Always opportunities to showcase your skills but increment and bonus are just marginally different (from what I know) when comparing a hard worker with an average slacker.

Awesome, somehow look alike what I imagine from the very first day I report to work
The good thingsall the friend are good, friendly, willing to share their experience... able to learn a lot and unexpected experience. all the senior will lend a hand when we face any difficulties, and will give and help up with a solution. beside working, there will also outdoor activities that could let us make more friends and in the same time increase the relationship between employee from differents state
The challengesthe challeging part is the accounting system that we are not familiar in the start of the implemantation of the GST. a little complicated and the difficulties to communicate in a right way with the respective states always led to miscommunication and result in working overtime almost everyday to finish up the job.

The good thingsSalary pay based on age, regardless performance. Superior will not interfere your working process but focus on outcome. Superior will not take much action on you even you make mistake in your work.
The challengesOrganization culture wasn't good. Senior staff can instruct or delegate any task for junior staff regardless the task related to job scope or not. Senior staff have priority to take leave during public holiday. Senior staff enjoy much more benefit than junior staff but junior staff have to carry on same task as senior staff. Senior staff can manipulate working roster.

    A Meaningful Workplace
The good thingsI worked in the Corporate Social Responsibility department. Everyday working with the team is a meaningful and productive day as we conducted various events and activities to help the needy people. One of the highlights was the program named Community Support. We identified the needy people and helped them with the cash donations collected from all the company's sales agencies in Malaysia.
The challengesIt is never easy to conduct the CSR related activities even a simple gesture. Many times we donated items and cash to the needy people but we do not know if the items donated are their needs or not. One of the valuable analysis thinking I learn is always put the needy person in my shoes, understand his/her needs and feed the needy person with the donation methods and items required.
