Saving livesThe good thingsIt is a relatively young organization, most of the researchers are in their early 30's and the head is currently not even 45. Researchers come from a variety of background from engineering to psychology to early childhood education to communications and other social sciences. Pretty good camaraderie among co-workers.
The challengesBeing a statutory body, it still follows general government practice although perhaps not that strict. As it is a research institute, it can be quite competitive and more academia than corporate. Most researchers are quite niche in their area of expertise, a generalist might be perceived as a non-expert.
