A place that you can learn and enjoy while working.
The good thingsI learned a lot about accounting process when working in here. Even thought there was up and downs, team members were always have each other and back up when ever needed. Colleagues were friendly and helpful.
The challengesReduce the politics in department. Treat every employees equally and give the rewards when they are truly perform without any bias.

    All is only about sales.
The good thingsWork-life balance, Monday morning treats
The challengesNot systematic and no proper structure or guideline to follow. Always focusing on sales only and does not have much personal growth in the company. Nothing to learn other than sales.

It was a good experience but due to the management being less professional when it comes to appreciating the executives hard work
The good thingsI enjoyed the training that was provided by the company, it has taught me a lot where I am able to communicate better with senior level, and C-level Executives face to face, also over the phone.
The challengesChallenges would be working under pressure, and trying to ensure a deliverable result to your upper management. Negotiating terms with your management and also the client, in succeeding with a win win for both parties.

    Good place to learn.
The good thingsColleagues and seniors are supportive. Nice environment to work and I love the programs designed such as the conferences, the summits, the forums. They are all very up-to-date and relevant.
The challengesPretty big amount of workloads but it's a must if you want to be good at your career in the long run.

Friendly and helpful colleagues aren't good enough to make one stay
The good thingsFriendly and helpful colleagues, regular Monday treats to drive of Monday Blue vibes
The challengesInternal competition within departments which results in unnecessary conflict. Promises are meant to be broken as spoken and actual situations aren't congruent.

    Life in Marcus Evans
The good thingsIf you need to make money, this is the place to be. You make sales by selling training modules and get paid in commission (small note, all transactions are in US Dollars). Also, if you need to improve your communication skills, this place is highly recommended as you will be trained to speak to all levels of individuals in confidence.
The challengesYou are only as good as your last week's sales. You need to be performing every week to maintain targets. Getting through decision makers can be challenging , however, with the right training, you can get-through any gatekeepers. Also, you need to come up with fresh leads every week. Lead research has to be thorough in order to make effective pitches. By the way, all sales are done via phone.

    My experience
The good thingsthe environment: its highly pressured to produce best quality conferences but there's help everywhere. colleagues, peers and seniors were always helpful. we worked hard, we played harder. I learned so much within a short time. the tagline \"you're only as good as your last event\" was challenging but it brought out the best in me. I became competitive with myself.
The challengesthe perks: there's no insurance coverage, no panel doctor, no medical claim. we were valued only if we bring in the revenue, otherwise its the door. its not an organization that gives back. it only give you what you'd worked for.

    Career Development
The good thingsProfessional Training is always given Fast career development Office transfer and travelling opportunities Big commissions and 5 figure salary opportunity even if you are a beginner Self development - speaking with CEOs, COOs and all the C-Level Executives of reputable companies like Petronas Dynamic culture - team work - opportunity to work with people from different countries as well.
The challengesBasic is low. But commissions are really one of the highest among other companies. Tough start for beginners if you can't cope dealing with high level executives Everyone have to start as a junior staff regardless of your education background

    Sales Driven Environment
The good thingsVery good perks for the performer, opportunity to move up to management role, great sales incentives, bonus and over-rides, sales commissions are good. Again, all well if you can perform well and achieve targets set.
The challengesTraining the sales managers who move up the ladder to lead instead of manage. Sometimes, in fact most times people leave due to stress imposed by management, direct managers and colleagues. A good team working environment isn't easy to come by here. Needs to be worked on.

mostly use phone to call local & overseas for delegates
The good thingsmeeting many friends, learn telemarketing skills & learn about different type of industries in general
The challengeshard to keep on finding delegates. The congress topics sometimes are not popular and it is not easy to get people to signup. Some of the topics also have been repeated. Have to work on Sundays if part of the team calling Middle East companies (but off on Fridays).
