    A great laboratory working experience.
    The good thingsGreat teamwork that always supports me with knowledge and treats me like a staff in the company. They always encourage me as much as possible to gain the knowledge that they have and experience working in a laboratory environment. Boss and supervisor are supportive and friendly that always consistent to give the best for an intern.
    The challengesThe work field was a challenging working experience that needs more energy to do the work and handle the big things. They are lack of the men workers to bring the big fruit from one place to another. They need to hire more men workers because of heavy work.

    Life-changing experience!
    The good thingsThe opportunities that were given to the students to handle projects and be independent help gained tremendous experience and self-confidence in the working environment. The supervisors were really helpful and attentive and always happy to lend a helping hand to the interns when we were stuck while performing our work.
    The challengesIt would definitely be a little bit better if we were given a salary just a little bit to support our expenses since we don't have earnings yet.

    The good thingsI love the good working environment and the friendly attitudes of all the workers at MARDI. If I had given a chance to work permanently there, I will definitely grab the opportunity. The working environment is really good to keep me going everyday. Besides, I also love the everyday work that I did there. It is something that related to what I have learnt. Although it is something I already know, however, there are always many new things that need to know about.

    Water management, soil erosion prevention, fertilizer application and IPM are research that I enjoy being included.
    The good thingsI enjoy working here because of the working style which not pushy, as long as task and work are being completed following schedule made. We cannot expect results to be in-line with our theory studies, as changes can occur through various factors. A part from that, the management did provide a house with low monthly rent.
    The challengesProbably need to increase laboratory equipment. There are times where we might be in dilemma to either travel to other places at a certain time where we also need be at the current place at the same time. It can be good when there nothing interferes with schedules.
