double standard, no team work, crazy management
The good thingsNo carrier growth, unmatured colleague
The challengesNot suitable for fresh hires or those seeking professional growth. I worked as a Sales Admin at Marpoliq Sdn Bhd and found the environment to be extremely stressful and discouraging for newcomers. Training was minimal and there was little to no proper guidance. The company operates like a family business, where decisions and opportunities often favor internal circles. It creates an unequal and uncomfortable environment for outsiders. Management style is also problematic — asking questions or seeking clarification often led to being scolded instead of being guided. This fostered a fear-based culture where employees feel afraid to ask or make mistakes. Additionally, there was a lack of basic accommodations for Muslim staff. Prayer time was not respected, and there was no proper space or clear support provided for fulfilling religious obligations. This made it difficult for Muslim employees to observe their duties with peace of mind.
