There's something about this company that makes the environment uplifting. I observe how the people here persist through day-to-day grind in their supercharged mode and still showing the same level of enthusiasm at the end of day. It's something that I want to learn from them. The good thingsFirst came across this company when I got came for an interview. From the office entrance, I was amazed with the display of motorbikes parts and components that greet everyone who steps into the office. Went to the first floor saw the beverages vending machine, snooker, foosball and play station. I felt like I was in a Google office. Interview went well, the hiring managers were very casual to make me feel comfortable. Few days later, I was offered the role which I was glad to accept. Been here for only a few months but I could already see my future and growth in this company. The opportunities are already there, it's about whether I want to go for it or not.
The challengesBeing an introvert, the vibrancy and chatters in the department where I was attached with didn't bode well with me. Over time, with smiles and handshakes, I started to blend in by making small talks with colleagues who sit on the same row as me. From team workouts to lunches and badminton on same days, I can say that I have found a place where I belong.
To work here, you need to have your own transport as the nearest LRT available still require you to take Grab to reach the office. My colleagues and I take turns to drive for lunch everyday and the nearest lunch place available is about 10 mins away.
