    Well..... It was.....mehhh.
The good thingsThe flexibility of working hours, medical benefits, annual leave, lunch provided
The challengesI think this is my bad luck but I was stuck with an unprofessional manager and the work culture can be very unhealthy sometimes. If you're up for this kind of "challenge", you can apply to this department.

MERCY Malaysia : Average company to gain (salary and experience)

The challengesOld management staffs and system. More expenses on unnecessary things (e.g: renovation, unsuccessful events)

    MERCY Malaysia days
The good things- Can start building towards a career in humanitarian sector - Can travel to interesting places, depending on which projects are on-going - See direct impact of donations going to the people we help - Meet like-minded people who are looking for more than money in their work - It's a recognizable brand among NGOs
The challenges- Very cost-conscious and always running understaffed - Work-life balance difficult, as natural disasters do not follow a schedule - Burn-out at work is a real possibility, need strong psychosocial support from family and friends - People expect more from an aid worker, there's no room for error. This can be a huge strain - Management can be quite remote from the operational personnel
