Great for Technical Growth in Large-Scale Oil & Gas Projects
The good thingsMIE shows a strong level of trust in its engineers by assigning them to multi-discipline roles that expand their on-site visibility and technical expertise. It’s an environment that truly rewards initiative and project ownership
The challengesThe coordination between disciplines can be a bottleneck on-site. Management should look into better digital integration to reduce site-level delays. Improving the interface between contractors and vendors would make execution much smoother

A good company for a new start.
The good thingsMIE Industrial provides good in house facilities such as gym, message area, canteen, great working area, parking area. tools (laptop, pc and stationery), with also friendly and easy to communicate colleagues.
The challengesMIE Industrial can improve by start implementing flexible hours as currently many of the staff are struggling to keep their time in check at 8.00am MIE can also improve on the wages for the junior engineer as standard of living in the area are expansive.

Lawless company that do not follow Standard Operating Procedure(SOP)
    The good thingsComfortable work station.
The challengesLawless company that do not follow Standard Operating Procedure(SOP). A lot of bypass on levels and special pass to get things done based on individuals. Quite bad benefits for the lower levels which will discourage talents to stay and contribute.

The challengesCommunication and information transfer between departments as the location is poor in term of telco service. We have nothing to say about that.

The challengesAs expected involving in construction industry, there will be poor for work/life balance. As much you'll faced a lot of problems on site almost everyday, you'll get pretty much stress. But in the end, you'll get new experience and learns more.

Good company to start for Fresh graduates
The good thingsGood facility in terms of equipment, accessibility and maintenance. The office is huge and each department is placed systematically, allowing each department to work with one another progressively and effectively. Not only that, the company's staff are friendly as well.
The challengesI would say the system used in the company is outdated and required to be upgraded. the system is a little bit not user-friendly, even for IT department level. Lots of bugs and require to liaise with the It department in Taipei, since the system originates from there.

Relax environment, however not good for career development
The good thingsThe environment is quite relax. The management gives a lot of freedom on how to handle your day to day job. No micromanagement is seen. Everyone seems to be respecting each other's role.
The challengesThere is lack of structure in the organization. You need to approach people yourself to understand how things work here. There is less standard operating procedure and lack of information made available inside shared drive/intranet. If you have been working in a more matured organisation, you may experience a bit of culture shock. The compensation is around low to average. The management decides to hire mostly on contract, due to lack of confidence to retain the same workload in the coming years. Therefore very less career development opportunity is seen.

The good thingsGot many project. Lots of opportunity to learn. Broad job responsibility. The HOD always offer to support every projects to make the project will not face any problem due to fund and lacks of material.
The challengesNeed to work on teamwork. everyone seems to be selfish and always like to passed the job to others without any proper handover. Other department did not do proper work to support other department. any problem that occurred that should be solve by that department had to be solve by other department. The basic salary are given base on race not on meritocracy.
