My mind's not made about MindmadeThe good thingsOverall, there's not a lot of pressure to create anything groundbreaking or creative. The day-to-day work is fairly straightforward and clients do not expect much. Since the company is small, the team is fairly tight-knit and they do their best look out for one another.
The challengesThe management adopts a micromanaging approach to things. Instead of learning to trust their team to make decisions, every decision must be approved from the top. Sometimes, this applies to small things like design or even the copy. This leads to a lot of frustrations and time wasted.
There's also a lack of working system in the company. Workload seems to be delegated randomly depending on who is perceived to be free. Sometimes, this works against you, especially when there's a lot of workload and deadlines.
The management also needs to learn to listen to feedback from their team. Although concerns have been raised in the past, it seems like the only action is to sweep it under the rug and pretend everything's okay instead of acknowledging the root of the problem and remedying it quickly.
