Great and friendly company to interns
The good thingsGreat environment to work and learn about how the remittance business work in real life. Also awesome team! They are so fun and relax, they also love to lunch outside tgt and it's lovely to had such lunchs. For intern, it might be difficult at first becs of fast pace work environment, but you can learn much from them and they would love to teach and show you if they are not busy, even the bosses also willing to teach you. They also had team night after work sometimes, and it's always like a party everytime they had it ahaha. They also offer remunation so it's a perfect place to intern in while improve and apply your knowledge
The challengesYou really need to focus on your position fully, because their fast pace of work really amazes me and sometimes you would be lost track to understand what they will do next, especially during peak hours. It's challenging, and you would need some time to adjust for being able to flow with them.

Great Environment to Work ans Learn
The good thingsSo much support given by the company for you the perform at your best no matter your background. Management wants you to be a part of the company.
The challengesFocus and Data Driven no BS culture. Number Speaks type of company. Don't misused your freedom as you will need to be independent and take initiative

    A wonderful place to work
The good things- Clear objectives - Very helpful and friendly coworkers (even between different departments) - Excellent management, the management gives employees freedom on how to do the job. They check on how you're doing every now and then to make sure they are providing enough support. Management also listen to employees feedback and implements suggestions as needed. - Nice pantry, constantly finding free ice cream and yogurt in the fridge, bread and peanut butter, milo provided daily
The challenges- team is growing fast, lack of space in the office now (getting more room soon) - very fast pace, can be very overwhelming if there is no prior experience to the job scope - self initiative is very important, the management gives all the support needed but will not spoon feed (which i think its excellent)

Amazing and a lot to learn
The good thingsGreat environment with a lot of learning curves as well as challenges. Definitely a good ground for you to kickstart as your first job to learn and experience financial industry and how a FinTech would work. Plenty of helpful individuals in the team as well as the other departments that provide strong support amongst each other too.
The challengesBig targets that is unrealistic and lack of proper confirmation target makes it difficult to gage self performance or how well one is doing.

Good working environment with supportive colleagues.
The good things1..Talented and supportive colleagues who are always willing to give advice and field questions. 2.Management is willing to listen and implement suggestions from employees. 3. Exciting industry with interesting challenges and chances provided by the company to learn new skills. 4.Company is very target focused, which gives you a lot of space to choose how to approach problems. 5.Well-stocked pantry with a decent rotation of snacks and drinks available. I usually get my breakfast at the pantry.
The challenges1. Work demands high level of initiative and independence as direction is not always provided or clear if you don't take steps to clarify and ask. 2. Challenging targets which will require effort and planning to reach. 3. Lack of Baskin Robbins and Pringles.

    Nice and fun
The good thingsThe people and the spirit of team work and how fast things were moving. Having close relationship with the top people within the industry definitely was a plus. Being small and young, your feedback is heard and listened to.
The challengesI think the speed of things was also has it down side. There are cases where perhaps features or functions that were cut off way too soon.

Great place to grow if like to be challanged
The good thingsTruely challenging environment in a sense that if you are a proactive type with lots of potentially good ideas to share, you would absolutely love this place. The company runs very lean, meaning that often people get multiple responsibilities to fulfill which is good for a proactive type and bad for the reactive type of employee. You'd either love it or hate it!
The challengesSince it is a fast-growing startup, everyone is expected to be proactive in their roles and there wouldn't be too much of hand-holding if you are too shy to ask for help. Workload at times can be exhausing, again, due to running lean.

    Customer First People Last
The good thingsFun colleagues to work with minimal issues among working level people. Location is great when it comes to food. Quite well-known name among the start up fintech scene
The challengesSenior management is horrible. Treats employees like dirt especially for people in business development. No training or career opportunities at all. Management has no clue whatsoever in what direction to take

    Terrible place to be
The good thingsTerrible place to grow. Startup that will never outgrow itself and evolve. It's such a shame a company of such caliber has poor management level staff to run the show. barely know what they are doing to get things moving
The challengesTerrible management. No structure. No proper guidance. A disaster waiting to happen. Staff are never given the chance to contribute as they have their own way of running the business. Its a waste of time

The challengesCompliance head is horrible. Management did not fix the problem. Management always favour tech and think ops easy. Always say ops easily replaced.

    Authentic Startup Experience
The good thingsA good mix of hands-on experience + strategic planning + innovative work. Perfect experience for anyone interested in a truly authentic startup experience. Good experience for both those looking for a role that has an analytical aspect/ hands-on work. Those who are self-initiated/ has strong sense of responsibility will thrive in this environment.
The challengesCan be a bit unstructured/ disruptive if you come from a corporate background - but I do think this is part and parcel of a startup and makes room for innovation, and a break from traditional corporate environment. So this can be a plus point if you are truly interested in a startup career.

    Great experience
The good thingsAs an intern from the Netherlands, I would never have expected to work in such a great company as MoneyMatch. I developed my skillset and knowlegde by doing a lot of projects. I learned a lot and I'm glad that MoneyMatch gave me this opportunity. Besides the work, MoneyMatch has a lot of social activities as hiking, futsal and badminton. I will never forget this amazing experience!
The challengesYou face a lot of difficult challenges but the team is always there to support you anytime.

    Superb company culture!
The good thingsGreat company culture supported by values of trust, teamwork and healthy competition. As an intern, I was given multiple responsibilities and trust despite the obvious lack of experience. Loved working here as there is an open door policy with any Head of Department including the founders and CFO, they are always open for a chat. Everyone seems to leave their ego at the door when it comes to company's performance. Strong focus on being the best; not focusing so much on internal politics, etc.
The challengesSalary may not be as high as what is offered elsewhere (though the experience greatly outweighs this)

    Awesome experience!
The good thingsPeople give you projects, and you are in charge of it. They trust you a great deal and they need you to show results. Although the salary was low, but the work that I do was fulfilling to me. It felt like doing great work and making a real impact to the community using MoneyMatch.
The challengesThe journey to get to the company is difficult and challenging. Sometimes the job scope given is vague and highly dependent on scenarios. I would say that having a clearer vision on the task that I am about to do is better. The benefits and perks are not too good, but I am still glad to work here.

    Super Awesome
The good thingsIts amazing culture and awesome people and also management in this company! We were like one family. Open to give idea and caring each others.
The challengesI'm study in business management so during my intern, I jump to both department which is in marketing and business development as well. So for marketing, its quite hard for me to catch up but always try to learn. What so ever its awesome!
