Decent pay were outweighed by unclear expectations, limited support, and repetitive work. The good thingsCompensation was fair for the position and aligned with the responsibilities outlined at the time of hiring.
The challengesDuring a period of organisational change, there was increasing ambiguity around role boundaries and reporting lines. Although I understood that additional duties could be assigned in line with my contract, tasks were at times allocated outside the usual managerial process, which made prioritisation and oversight difficult. Support and clarity during this transition were limited, and despite attempts to address these concerns, the situation did not improve. Additionally, much of the work became highly repetitive, with limited opportunities for meaningful contribution or development. As a result, I chose to seek a role with clearer structure, purpose, and growth potential.
