SURVIVE HERE, AND YOU'LL THRIVE ANYWHERE.The good thingsThe entry-level salary is quite generous, standing above the average. This is the highlight for newcomers.
The challengesIt's not so much about challenges as it is about problems:
1. Micromanagement: Your ideas are often dismissed, and no matter how good they are, they're not taken seriously. They always ask us not to do the job at the last minute, but they always do it at the last minute.
2. Lack of Recognition: If you're in IT, don't expect commissions or appreciation from top management. IT work is perceived as easy, often reduced to "just copy and paste."
3. Blame Game: When revenues fall, the Business Development department often takes the blame, even though the Digital Marketing and Media Buying teams sell services.
4. Credit Where It's Due: Business Development secures the services, and IT develops the webpages, but Marketing and Media Buying end up with the recognition and commissions.
5. IT Professional Growth: If you're in IT, this may not be the place for you. The environment lacks understanding of IT roles, leading to stagnant skill development.
