    Working as Audit Trainee
    The good thingsI got learn new things from my senior. For example from how to do materiality to audit report. Can learn how to key in data and analysis the report. My supervisor also being friendly to me. Love them.
    The challengesThe environment is silent. The challenges during peak hour we as a audit trainee go to client company to audit and go back at 9 pm for 1 month.No payment for the OT.

    Good experience for fresh grads
    The good things- can learn a lot of things (dormant co, SME, PLC) since you will responsible for one whole audit process (from the materiality calculation until the release of audit report to client); proper comprehension on the flow of audit methodology - partners are so helpful and humble - managers are supportive - colleagues are super awesome and very helpful - got bonus and increment - cny celebration, christmas, year-end event
    The challenges- audit working paper always got changes. too many unnecessary format needs to follow. too many things need to do = time consuming = need to stayback at office = go back late - going back at 7 pm is considered early even though you come at 8 am - OT is almost impossible - no proper distribution of workloads for every staff

    Great experience to work with the teammates
    The good thingsIt's an opportunity to join Nexia SSY PLT for my internship. During my internship, I had learnt a lot of things, and can get more understanding on how to calculate the materiality, audit fees, and conduct the paper work and glad to have mentors for helping when I faced into the difficulties
    The challengesThe most challenges were when EMCO's where everyone are not allowed to go office, and yet working from home was very challenging for the workers as we need to get a lot of files to complete the paperwork.

    The good thingsNothing good to write on this firm. Everything also bad...
    The challengesVery low standards. Different opinions from all partners resulting to different set of instructions. No standards at all. Partner also no idea what they are doing colleague even worse. Everyday just wait for salary by end of the month and go home early everyday despite deadline. Pay like peanut and expect work like big 4. Alot of things not done in accordance with standards. Waste of time.

    Partners lack of technical skills and bad management
    The good thingsWorking hour is good lar. Can come in late and can go home on time.
    The challengesPartner often said they are good. But then, partner's technical knowledge is bad. Audit junior also better than the audit partners. Nothing to learn.

    My basic training - all I need to know for a beginner
    The good thingsObjective focus in engagement and a good place to learn, difficult assignments but if you are willing to take on more this is an opportunity. Very performance based, and challenging
    The challengesInsufficient time for agreed deliverables, but I guess it's a way of pushing you forward
