    You just can’t change a culture that’s been around forever

    The challengesThe culture here is very unhealthy. There’s a lot of micromanagement, and small things are often made a big deal.

    There is limited room for career growth at NPM, as senior staff often insist you to follow their way of working and can influence your manager’s decision on promotions.
    The good thingsGood benefit especially on employer's EPF contribution.
    The challengesExcessive pressure and micromanagement by senior staff have led to high levels of stress. The high turnover rate is largely attributed to a lack of professionalism among the senior team.

    i have learn a lot about the work that related to monitor the plant wastewater qualitity treatment and process aside from taking it sample to be tested on lab.
    The good thingsI have gain a good experience related to the lab work especially in handling several instrument that require to follow SOP procedure. Besides, i have met a lot of great and helpful worker that willing to spend their time to teach and provide me some information related to the work during my intership here.
    The challengesProbably learning a new task in handling the work that related to my field. Instead of accepting the theories during my studies, i need to apply the practical things such as learning on how to supervise and monitor the water quality and also the worker safety which May involves several hazardous substance and safety clean environment to provide suitable places for work
