Join and aim to join and say yes to everything before you get considered for promotion.
The good thingsIf you are liked you get far
The challengesMost promotions are given to family or someone who's from the same church Unfair in alot of ways- including how they treat staff with the workload and timelines Management refuses change unless parents complain- then it changes 180 to the other extreme

Work smart and just follow the expectations set. You will be rewarded well.
The good thingsAn amazing place to work, learn and grow. Full of challenges, extremely fast paced, yet I have really learnt a lot
The challengesIt can be stressful at times, with all the deadlines and events lined up. Expectations are also vert high and one must learn to meet these expectations.

    Positive Environment
The good thingsThe colleagues are incredibly friendly and welcoming. People bring a positive attitude to work, and that creates an uplifting environment.
The challengesThe company sets very high standards when it comes to the quality of work, and this can be challenging at times. But it encourages constant learning and improvement.

    Good working environment.
The good thingsThe early working hours are a significant advantage, allowing us to avoid traffic jams. The colleagues here friendly and supportive, and this contributes to a collaborative working environment. Besides, the company also offers opportunities for career progression.
The challengesWhile the company is constantly evolving, it can sometimes be challenging. But this also presents opportunities to learn new skills and adapt.

    Worst, worst and more worst.
The good thingsSome of the colleagues are very friendly and willing to help each others.
The challengesThe management and some of the teachers are the worst. Not willing to listen to operation staff and teachers. If you want to have worst colleagues and low salary, this is the place you can start with.

While the company has some positive aspects, including supportive colleagues, improved systems, and a performance-based bonus, significant challenges exist. Issues like nepotism, lack of support for teachers, poor management decisions, and an unsupportive work culture make it difficult for employees to thrive. Addressing these concerns could lead to better morale, improved retention, and a healthier work environment.
The good thingsA few good colleagues are always willing to help and provide guidance. The new system for keying in marks is systematic and user-friendly. The principal and vice principal of academics are working towards creating a more organised and systematic environment. Hard work is recognised and rewarded with a potentially good bonus.
The challengesNepotism: Leadership roles are often given to friends and family, undermining meritocracy. Example: The selection of the new principal seemed biased. Inefficient Decision-Making: Decisions are often poorly handled, leading to repeated tasks and wasted time. Example: Teachers' input on class placements being disregarded when students are later allowed to choose their classes. Parental Demands: Unrealistic expectations to cater to every parental demand despite large class sizes (e.g., 28 students per class). Special Needs Students: Lack of proper training or resources for teachers to support special needs students effectively. Special needs students are placed in regular classes without adequate support systems. Limited Opportunities for Growth: Overseas training opportunities are often reserved for management’s inner circle. Transparency regarding such opportunities is lacking. Employee Treatment vs. Student Discipline: Teachers face harsh criticism, while students often escape accountability for their actions. Example: Verbal warnings being the only consequence for students who hit teachers, despite management’s initial stance against such behaviour. Bullying Culture: Older teachers reportedly sabotage younger teachers in leadership roles. To my knowledge, management is aware but fails to take action. Lack of Employee Care: Minimal recognition or care for employees’ personal milestones. High employee turnover due to the lack of a supportive work culture. Increments and Compensation, Medical Coverage: Salary increments are minimal, often only around RM 200+. Medical coverage is only RM 100 per visit. If you are charged extra, you will have to pay for it yourself. Workload and Deadlines: Excessive workload during certain months requires sacrificing personal time. Major events like Sports Day and exam preparations add significant pressure. Onboarding and Training: New employees receive little to no formal training or guidance. HODs fail to provide adequate resources, like sample exam papers, yet hold teachers accountable for unmet expectations. Exam Paper Preparation: New teachers often face repeated revisions and unclear standards, wasting time. Training Sessions: Often unproductive, led by management’s favourites rather than experts. Frequent Meetings: Redundant meetings could be reduced to once a month for better time management.

The work environment is highly stressful and the principal may unfairly criticize or punish employees for minor mistakes, despite contractual obligations. Is a big NO NO NO for me.
The good things1. Excellent colleagues with full of caring and tolerance. 2. Reasonable or controlled numbers of students per class.
The challenges1. Their chaotic communication, involving multiple platforms, often leads to confusion. 2. Squeezing timetable and rapid change of decision form the top management. 3. Being required to arrive at school early, even if the contract says otherwise. 4. The work atmosphere is very tense, sometimes making one feel suffocated. 5. Top management may greatly exaggerate one small mistakes and falsely accuse you of wrongdoing.

A pleasant, and very informative internship about the teaching world
The good thingsThe teachers are very nice, and students are quite lovely as well. Special attention is given to the specifics of teaching, and planning, etc cetera.
The challengesDo intern more than a month, or you won't be getting a salary. Otherwise, probably having to wake up early everyday for work can be difficult to get used to at the start.

    Safe space to work in
The good thingsIt is definitely a safe working environment. I feel at ease whenever I'm in the school.
The challengesNo company comes without its challenges - during peak seasons such as exams, the workload does get heavy.

    STRESS AND NOT ENJOYABLE
The good thingsNew Campus in Damansara
The challengesFeeling stressful with tight schedule and rapid change of decisions from the top management. Fake heart but thinking they are treating us well. Many great colleagues have left the school. Constantly finding fault of the teachers if you are not in their good book. Making everyone feeling fear and not to voice out their opinion.

The challengesConstantly feeling lonely and helpless as everyone mind their own business , dare not voice out anything that is different from the top management. Not supportive but they think they are taking care of our wellbeing in reality is not. We constantly feel stress and exhausted

The work environment at Nobel is truly exceptional, fostering collaboration, camaraderie, and a genuine passion for education. I would like to highlight some of the reasons why I believe Nobel International School's team stands out as the best.

Sweet talk Place and Dual Face with more purpose not only dual purpose
The good thingsTalk very well, focus a lot on display and surface value. From the outlook , it is presentable
The challengesIf you are in it, you will see the difference. Not nice and full of politics and toxic from the very top management. Keep changing decision depends on one person's liking and thinking. One moment you think you are on top, without you knowing, is like chipsmore, now you see and now you don't. You will survive if you are a satay fan but no guarantee when you will be cold storage or from a room to a big hall. Your performance will not be determined by your ability or creativity but how well you can serve one person and the 4 stars. Basically the longer you are there, you will lose your own identity and principles. If you are a person with no basic principles and a great followers. Join here.

A great place to work in!
The good thingsIt's a place that cares about the well-being of their employees. Expressions of creativity are given a place to every employee regardless of young or old. Management listens to everyone's problems and ideas. I have almost reached 10 years of service here and I never regretted working here. I have heard many gory stories of private schools but this school has made a difference in my life!
The challengesThe only thing I don't enjoy working here is the parking constraints but now it's going to be "a thing of the past" as we are moving to the new premise which was formerly "KDU" which has ample parking spaces for everyone!
