Good place to learn. Not earn.
The good thingsCollectivist learning culture of teaching what you learn (Suitable for Gen-X & above), allows any individual to learn, good place to retire, good office location, enjoyable & encouraging colleagues.
The challengesLow salary & benefits compared to modernizing competitors. Old school-driven HR, salary & benefits structure. As for learning, it can be challenging for individualistic learners that prefer applying what you learn (Gen-Y & below), learning should be enabled by merit & accreditation.

    Low salary
The good thingsGreat culture, down to earth senior managers. Some office politics here and there, but not something to worry about. This is a good place to learn about investment or bond market, but not the place to make money. You will start with below average salary working here.
The challengesThe salary is below average, if compared to other fund management houses. Increment is very constant, and you need to work more than 10 years here to become a fund manager.
