Working as an ExpatriateThe good thingsReasonable pay and package to expatriate, great oversea exposure. Worked as expatriate was very challenging where you have to tolerance with local and headquarter management. Good exposure to all departments even though without experience. Freedom in decision making when there's no trouble but wholly responsible on the decision made.
The challengesNo training provided, learn from on hand job. Organization fundamental was not strong enough to sustain the challenging world, therefore oversea investment were closed or joint venture then transferred the management to Japanese who is not willing to listen to us. Overcome our stress and convince the headquarter on the company status because they trust Japanese more than us.
