Great Scandinavian affair. Bonus can be lacking.
The good thingsTruly one of the best workplaces to be at. Psychological safety is really the emphasis there, and it's exuding Danish principles and work ethics even in the Kuala Lumpur office. Everybody is mostly kind and cordial and in each regional office you can feel the same 'hygge' atmosphere. A lot of employee run social clubs to the point you have to pick and choose which to go as they are often having it on the same day. A lot emphasis on work life balance as well, you see people leaving the office by 3pm to take further meetings later in the day as to avoid the rush hour. Despite being a 8000 employee company as time of writing, the hierarchy is very flat. It's first name basis with your superiors up to the C-suite. Benefits wise is one of the best I've seen. Up to 4k for flexible benefits for optical, wellness, dental, parents and sports. Free WFH furniture if you've been with the company for 3 years. Provides company laptop and company phone as well. Usually 2 days WFO.
The challengesBonus payouts can be relatively low, less than a month. But personally, I feel the other cultural perks and compensation benefits more than makes up for it.

    Very People-Oriented Culture
The good thingsI love the work culture here, it allows everyone to grow in their career. The atmosphere between the management and employees is very smooth and they take our concerns seriously to improve the environment. Work-life balance is sacred here, as this is part of the Danish work culture.
The challengesMore benefits and perks would be appreciated.

    Good Company with Scandinavian Culture
The good thingsWorking here as developer for almost 1 year. Luckily Orsted applied Agile instead of waterfall. Really love how the people work each other. Culture wise is good, people are friendly and respectful towards each others.
The challengesThe company moving quite fast in term of technology and expanding globally. This is not a cons but a challenge for me. I take this as a challenge since this is part of journey. As a global company, we have counterpart from Europe and US. Different time zone can be a challenges but my team seldom organize a meeting late night or early morning. Most people respect once time zone working hours.

    Feeling appreciated and recognised.
The good thingsThe best thing about the company is they value each and everything you do and it’s part of their culture. I’ve been with the company for only 7 months now, appreciation and recognition is the greatest of all.
The challengesChallenges for now is to work and ensure the onsite related process adherence among our colleagues, but that’s part of my task. :)

I'm loving it! a great MNC
The good thingsFast paced organizations with lots of new stuff coming in. Good bosses, team lead, tech lead. All of them are really friendly and helpful. You can mingle with all of the team and shared your experiences and be friend with everybody in the company. Not much office politics, everyone is treated the same and compensate fairly. You can speak up to higher level and will be given attention for your feedback.
The challengesSome challenges is that if the organization could hire locals more to balance out with the existing employees that are multi racial. this was due to skills that needed was not match with local talents. It is quite challenging on the part. As for compensation, would be nice if its par with the markets or above it. Bonus compensation max is 1.5 months if you are hardworking, not more than that. The rest is ok.

Great experience and a place to be for people thriving to learn
The good thingsIm loving my time in Orsted. I can't think of a company that strives more to take care of their employees while prioritizing diversity and inclusion and doing the right thing.
The challengesI thoroughly enjoyed my time at this employer with it's work life balance approach to employees and the fantastic way campuses are set up for the employees. you really cant find any challenges because the team leads are always there to guide you through.

The only place where work and play no difference
The good thingsHave freedom to explore, yourself is the limit, strongly pushed the work life balance, very open and fun culture, very good environment as the culture is very diverse, good facility to exercise while you work with office fit, lots of social activities, decent equipment, ergonomic chair, your desk is 1.8 meter wide with up and down where you can stand or sit base on your preference and its COVID SOP friendly, very high flexibility, freedom to develop your future career, no bonding on your training, lots of opportunity, lots of challenging tasks where people helping each other, laugh together, cry together, feels like your own families, feels like home.
The challengesThe limit is yourself, don't expect to grow if you have spoon feed mindset, you need to define your own future and you will get full support, some people became enjoy and stagnant due to enjoy too much.

    Great company
The good thingsCompany really take care of their employee. Provide all sort of support and stuff to ensure we can work in comfortable workplace. Great work life balance, good friends/colleagues, good bosses. No stupid office politic. Everyone is working together to be good and supporting each other regardless of what team you are.
The challengesFrankly, there is one to many employees that are not local which somehow populate the majority of the employee. It should try to attract local talent instead.
