There are better places to work at.
The good thingsFree parking for employees (but parking spots get filled very quickly so there’s always a need to double park in the basement car park). Staff discount in outlets (only confirmed employees), sometimes there’s a warehouse sale that goes on in the HQ for employees as well. Some staff members can be friendly, depending on the department.
The challengesDo not expect a clean and tidy working environment. Bring your own snacks or coffee because the pantry limited resources. No free food but there is coffee from a coffee machine at their “cafe”). Favouritism is VERY apparent in the company, no matter which department you are in. You will notice it right away. There can be controlling seniors and colleagues that will micromanage you as well. Lack of career growth – if you’re a fresh grad this job might be suitable for you. Definitely not recommended for those with longer and better experiences. Do note that it’s a 6-month probation period.

You can try if you are fresh grad, but if you have experience, think twice.
The good thingsFlexible working hours (only for those who join the company more than 6months), staff purchase
The challengesSince you're given Flexible shift, they will expect you to be on standby even on weekend, AL and MC. If you take MC, you have to submit MC before 10am which what's the point of taking MC if you still need to get up early to go to clinic. Approval on leave take time and you will need to provide strong reason. Favoritism towards senior staff is quite heavy here which led to feel discourage and unfair. Enviroment feels like in library, no chit-chat with colleague during working hours.

Please consider before apply for HR
The good thingsGood exposure of what HR do for a fresh grad, staff purchase, flexible working hour (but not all entitled for it)
The challengesHR staff can't claim OT despite after working hours or even when senior reach at night. Around 60% of tasks are still manual, using paper, which affects efficiency and sustainability. Favoritism towards senior staff is often apparent, which can feel discouraging and unfair to junior team members.

Avoid the HR department; the other departments seem okay.
The good thingsFlexible working hours, Staff purchase card
The challengesWorkloads are uneven with clear favoritism. Junior staff lack growth, doing only admin tasks. Recognition favors seniority, not contribution. Weekend work is expected; some lack laptops. Mistakes lead to pressure, not support. Leadership lacks skill, creating a toxic culture needing urgent change.

Ecommerce in this company has different area. The glamourous of this job only for model shooting.
The good thingsonly good for working in Padini was you can get staff purchase for every items in the outlet, the payment salary on time, free parking and PH holiday in every calendar were taken.
The challengesfamily local business- so you probably understand the culture in there once you got in. for example dont have proper instruction from the manager coz all the working flow based on whats CEO wants and favoritism race and person in workplace were highly their culture too.

While the company offers a good working environment with flexible shifts, it struggles with unequal treatment, lack of recognition for effort, and poor adaptability among the customer service team, leading to workplace stress
The good thingsGood working environment with entertainment facilities and flexible time shifts
The challengesChallenges include unequal treatment by the management, where female employees often receive more leniency while male employees face stricter expectations. Despite putting in significant effort and achieving positive results for the company, even minor mistakes can lead to harsh criticism, overshadowing previous contributions. Additionally, the customer service team prioritizes their own comfort over adaptability and cooperation when new challenges arise, creating further inefficiencies. The lack of managerial intervention to address these issues adds to the frustration. Such an environment can lead to mental stress, especially when consistent effort and results are not recognized or appreciated
