The Pulau Indah power plant, is a 1.2GW gas-fired, combined-cycle power project being developed in the Pulau Indah Island of Malaysia.The gas-fired power station is being developed by Pulau Indah power plant (PIPP), a consortium of Worldwide Company (75%), and Korea Electric Power Corporation (25%).The construction works on the £678m ($837m) project are expected to be started in the first quarter of 2021.Scheduled to commence operations by January 2024, the Pulau Indah power plant (PIPP) is expected to supply enough electricity to power approximately 500,000 households in Kuala Lumpur.
