    Reasonable salary; messy organization
The good thingsIn a time where COVID struck the country and where almost everyone is looking for a job, Certis Group offers a reasonable salary during pandemic times and at times, flexible working hours.
The challengesAs with most security and law enforcement agencies, you are required to be either on standby or working on shift hours. For the initial part it is ok, but the operations team undoubtedly manned by some young folks rarely empathize with 'on the ground' situation. As employees, we have to jump through the hierarchy and red tapes to the right person and get the matter addressed.

    A place where opportunities exist
The good thingsThe autonomy and space given by the management and this creates an environment for creative solutions. The only way to survive today is to continue to innovate and find a cost effective solution so that our customers remain sticky with the us. An outcome driven culture spurs the team to work towards achieving the desired results.
The challengesCertain administrative processes such as payroll and recruitment existed for many years with legacy system which makes it difficult and too costly to change. This resulted in plug-gap measures to solve immediate pain points but creates another obstacle preventing the company to scale.

easy working experience , simple task
The good thingshelping my colleagues and supervisor when they require help from me , same towards me require their assistance or help time , they will always willing to give a helping hand. When they face difficulties with handling chinese readers to search for chinese book titles on the catalogue itself, i will offer to help them with it , with my knowledge of typing chinese han yu pin yin , and remembering every shelf location and finding the book for the readers and colleagues as well as sup.
The challengessetting hour limits or time limits in shelving and straightening the books part , because i tend to do it slowly and relaxingly, don't get use to speeding things up, or do in a rushing manner that make serious mistakes very easily and also in terms of setting break hours to jus minimum of 15 mins seems really too rushing for me , at least need 30 mins will be better .

    Excellent Management Team
The good thingsManager and Liason officers looked after the staffs very well. Staff welfare was excellent service. It's a shame the project got ceased. Nevertheless, great experience. Perhaps we can cross paths again in the future.
The challengesChallenges weren't much.It was manageable. I could say so only because of the excellent manager and liaison officers.

    Learning experience ahead
The good thingsSeldom am I meeting with my manager/s as staff are posted to different workplaces and like myself, is attached to the reporting officer at that posting. Experience differ for each and every employee and you will be able to experience new things every time as reporting officers do change over the years. Whether the experience be a good one or a bad one, it will be a learning point in every employee's work life.
The challengesAs working environment is different for every employee, the job cope may or may not differ. Sometimes you will be doing beyond your scope of work and value adding to the place of posting. This may sometimes be overlooked as going the extra mile and be taken advantage of. In some cases, you may be reporting to more than one superior and this may end up haywired.
