Valuable and rewarding experience that provided meaningful exposure and professional growth.
The good thingsHad a valuable internship experience here. The team was supportive and patient in guiding interns, which helped me learn a lot both technically and professionally. Not to mention, it is a great place to gain real working exposure. I truly appreciated the opportunities given to interns to participate in actual projects and learn from experienced colleagues and seniors. The seniors were approachable and willing to share their knowledge, which greatly helped us achieve our learning goals.
The challengesThe improvement could be providing more structured guidance and training for interns during the initial stages, which may help them adapt more quickly to the fast-paced working environment.

Is a good audit firm to gain accounting professional experience.
The good thingsI started my career at Peter Chong & Co. as an Audit Assistant right after graduation, and it was one of the best decisions I made for my professional development. The firm provides a rigorous yet supportive environment where you are exposed to a wide variety of industries and complex accounting issues early on. Good place to learn, bad place for a career
The good things- Good exposure to various industries - Great audit knowledge - Guidance provided - Friendly workplace - Proper & good practice of auditing and accounting standards
The challenges- Below average wages - Slow career advancement - High learning curve - Heavy workload - Expected to work overtime and on weekends without compensation - Busy season throughout the year non-stop - Understaffed. Interns out numbered regular staff heavily - Reward for good work is more work
