    Political with micromanagers
The good thingsEmployee benefits. Fellow colleagues are helpful.
The challengesHeavy competition among managers and started micromanaging (scrutinizing telephone bills and parking receipt etc). Toxic environment to work in. Frequent role play which is unnecessary..managers themselves are so bad in role playing but giving out advices to product specialist.

    Manager
The good thingsSome of the great benefits include flexi-hour, great colleagues and working environment, good learning platforms. Majority of the leadership team are approachable and friendly. As one of the big pharma, a good base if you would like to learn about the healthcare industry.
The challengesPfizer takes regulations to a whole new level making it difficult to get things done. The recent new policies that has been rolled out has stifled the people from trying to innovate as the system in place might not reward you for owning it but retain you instead. Also, be prepared to be stretched as this is an MNC and they will stretch you as much as you can while you have to wait if you want to get promoted as this is awarded slowly.

    Working experience
The good thingsI have a lot of experiences working here. The working colleagues are nice, helpful and friendly. The management as well are giving a lot of attention to the staffs needs. Annually the company held a Sales Meeting where all the staff in Malaysia was gathered at one place to honour their establishment in sales for the past one year.
The challengesWorking mostly alone in administration does requires a lot of patience but the good part is, everybody in different branches are always not afraid of lending a helping hand or sharing ideas whenever I need one. The best part is, the communication between branches and the upper management has no barrier. Everybody is free of sharing ideas among all.

    Pfizer (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
The good thingsPfizer provide and give priority for internal staff on career development whenever there are various job openings. Pfizer has great benefits and they appreciate and retain good staff. If an employee has resigned from Pfizer, this company promotes opportunity whenever you want to come back to work which not many company will do. Internal job changes or department transfers are welcome.
The challengesNo doubt in Pfizer, we are super busy, there's so much to do. At times, some people said, there are no work-life-balance but it is up to your time-management's skills on how to deal with it. Nevertheless, Pfizer welcomes 'straight-talk' whereby if you have grievances’, you can always talk to someone and they will take action.

The good thingsOpen communication, free flows of ideas are welcomed and encouraged.. Good organizational working etiquette yet not snobbish nor arrogant. ery good training are provided for employees from all levels from the lowest grade employees to the highest positions ie the directors of all departments including the MD of each location !
The challengesFavouritism & cronysm exist ie ; you 'scratch my back i scratch your back\" situation exist btwn top management with its immediate subordinates(middle management)& the staff ; which should not happen as this is an International established well respected organization. No system as FeDEX to feedback to CEO or headquarters when local top management or middle management practices cronysm & favourism
