    Great Company to Work
The good thingsThe company values its people very much and strive a lot for personal development to groom one to become their future successor. People are willing to teach and guide newbies in the company to let them learn and grow together as a team in the organization.
The challengesWorkload can varies depending on product launches, meetings and also on going ad-hoc jobs. A person has to be adaptable to changes in this company as they move really fast paced and there is consistent changes in the management as a whole.

    Benefits & working culture
The good thingsGiven monthly allowances, insurance benefit, free merchandise, frequent company events. But these may have been revised due to the declining response for tobacco demands. The working environment maybe stressful as they are handling internal & external users who use the internal system which requests have tight SLA.
The challengesRequests from sales team are quite pushy. The distributors are not friendly & some are less considerate especially when they have problems with the systems & require support from us.

    Manager
The good thingsNo much pressure and stress if it's related to day to day job or any projects. A good work life balance was enjoyed by the employees. Also the benefits provided was one of the best provided to employees in Malaysia.
The challengesIf I was given the opportunity as the higher management, I would have change the mindset of the employees to be more productivity and quality driven. By doing this the factory should have continued production here in Malaysia and ranked as of the top affiliates in the world.

The good thingsInternational exposure and have all standard operating procedure in placed. The company throws a real safe working procedure in term of operations and general organisation. Moreover, the company manpower strength coming from various nationalities and from different cultivation.
The challengesDue to different cultural background, the decision making from the top management always changes whenever a new top management being transferred. It's a normal process for certain position being changed every two years. This could delay the current project due to re-visit the project based on new commissions.

The challengesOne challenging experience that I've encountered was the change of both management and agency. There are more workloads which are not in the job scope.

    Great working structure
The good things1. Working for Godfrey Philip Malaysia is a tremendous and enjoyable working environment with supportive managers and great marketing program. 2. Work closely with distributors and continue to grow distributors business is a sense of achievements. 3. Provided company vehicles with additional laundry allowance. 4. Average work load & reporting which does not required weekends and personal leave
The challenges1. Based at Distributors location which requires to travel early. 2. Requires to acquire high reputation against distributors which allows distributors to invest on tobacco industries. 3. Managing incorporative distributors is a challenge which sometimes stressful during work.
