    Up to your discretion
The good thingsOld timers say 2 things about the company; either its a very good company or they are complacent. I'd rather go with the former. Lots of old timers here- who keep re-using the same vendor and supplier. Loads of people to share their experience after you have grown attached to them. As an organization that's coming up with its innovative offering, I wish they'd do the same with their workplace environment. It's an old office with a conventional set of furniture and set up. They need new blood.
The challengesInternal politics, awful furniture and new young employees. The mentality of speaking in 1 dialect needs to change; it's an MNC and not a local run set up. Accountability needs to be done right- top to bottom approach- from everyone to everyone.

    The Surface was Good...
The good thingsThe offer letter was given in a deck with lots of information and forms to be filled. It looks very impressive and very professional. The company branding to excite potential/new employees are very good.
The challengesBetter onboarding experience would help new employees to settle down and understand work culture better. Effective and clear communication would be key as well as managing perception of employees especially with new employees.

The good thingsSTAFF WELFARE IS GREAT, BENEFITS FOR STAFF IS WELL TAKEN CARE AND CONSIDERED. CAREER ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMME IS ALWAYS COMPANY PRIORITY. STAFF FEEDBACK IS ALWAYS TAKEN INTO HUMAN RESOURCES REVIEW. WORKING ENVIRONMENT IS GOOD WITH PROPER FACILITIES. TRANSPARENT COMMUNICATION IS IN PRACTICE. MEDICAL BENEFITS IS WELL COVER BY DIFFERENT RANKING AND STAFF LEVEL. COMPANY SOP IS CLEAR AND TRANSPARENT.
The challengesSOME DIVISION DOES NOT FOLLOW THE COMPANY CULTURED. ELDER MANAGEMENT SUCH DEPARTMENT IS STAGNANT FOR LEARNING AND FURTHER PROGRESS AND THIS IS AFFECTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF JUNIOR AND EXECUTIVES TO FOLLOW THE BAD CULTURE. JOB ROTATION COULD TAKE PLACE AT ANY TIME PRIOR TO STAFF AGREEMENT.

Working in the largest lighting company in the world
The good thingsFriendly environment, everyone works harmoniously & you can expect teamwork. Work life balance is notable. Perks are good too. The office is just opposite to the LRT station, convenient for many. Also closeby is the PJ shopping and commercial hub. Managers are professionally trained in their work, so you can expect a good level of professionalism in handling your well being.
The challengesOverall this company is one of the best companies to work for. Very little complaints, except that it would be great if there is a good and structured career growth path for the employees. Nonetheless, management is great.

The good thingsBasic salary is above average and if you are a good performer, you can get a lot of commission. Training will be provided. Opportunities to work at different outlets based on your location. For me, I worked during the weekends to boost my salary.
The challengesThe commission rate is continuously declining. Some products are too expensive and the market is niche. Promoter must possess certain amount of persuasive skill to get potential buyers because the items are not a necessity, but it does add value to customers life.

Review of a Great Place to Grow
The good thingsThe Company has expose me to various area of expertise during my short stint and expect me to be versatile in workplace so I can gain more exposure and contribute more with the department and generally to assist other department. Colleagues I worked with gave support in order to complete task in a team.
The challengesBeing more resourceful and not waiting for other people to settle any issue arises but more to give suggestion of solution to resolve the issue. Additionally, tackle any issue in every angle possible to avoid possible future problems on the earlier solutions provided.
