The challengesOne of the main challenges I faced as an Assistant Manager was working in a very fast-paced environment with unexpected issues, such as system downtime or sudden staff shortages. While I didn’t particularly enjoy the irregular and long working hours that came with the F&B industry, these challenges taught me how to stay calm under pressure, troubleshoot problems quickly, and manage both people and systems effectively. The experience helped me build resilience and problem-solving skills, which I am now eager to apply in an IT-focused role where I can grow my technical expertise.
