The career in PKF Kota Kinabalu
The good thingsThis company is suitable for fresh graduates who can endure everything; they are willing to learn and sacrifice all the time from the beginning. It was an excellent place to learn what independence is, and do not expect Seniors and Audit Managers to teach you everything. Instead, they will try to explain once and after that, look for the answer yourself. If you are able to stay for four (4) years, your next career will go higher and higher.
The challengesI would say good luck, be ready for all the datelines and be ready for the "Bad Temper" from Manager and Partner.

    Terrible partners and managers
The good thingsLearn to work independently without any proper guidance
The challengesBad temper of partners and managers. Do not expect there is “human kindness” such thing in this company. They expect you to do all things by yourself without any guidance. They won’t see the hard work side of yours, they only will ask “why can’t you finish your work”. They could assign the job to you today, and expect you to be done the next day. It’s not a good place to stay for fresh graduates as well. This company should think about it why the staff turnover is high over here!

The challengesNo proper guidance at all, managers and boss here expect you to done all things by yourself without any guidance from them. It is not a good place to learn for those fresh graduates. This firm have to think about it why the staff turnover is high. No proper management at all, and no OT allowances at all even though you work so hard for the company.

    Good place for improvement
The good thingsGiving a chance to participate in employee training, and invited for annual dinner. Giving opportunity to do field audit.
The challengesThe managers are expecting you to do good job like other experienced permanent staff and very stressful working environment. No proper guidance given as you have to be independent to ask the seniors or other colleagues how to do the task and sometimes they cannot assist you since they too are busy and stress with their own work. So, just waiting to be scolded by the managers.

Harsh place to obtain good guidance
The good thingsBunch of food outlets nearby
The challengesManagement is severely lacking thus VERY high staff turn-over, you'll be constantly critized for things that you don't even know/been told to do, office politic is high except in Tax Department (safer here). If you're liked, you would obtain help/guide easier. But if not, expect to be shout at, critized and gossiped. Not pleasant as the place crawls with people who think mighty high of themselves and not afraid to tear you down to ensure you won't climb higher in the ranks. Overall, an o-k place to heavily indulge in work activity and less about your life. Yes. Don't even dream of having a life here. Not a place for everyone.

Challenges - the good and bad
The good thingsChallenges. It is hard to miss as the firm throws you assignments completely alien to your fresh graduate mind so very often. It's challenging for sure because whether or not you are ready, they expect you to be and this trains you, it allows you to push yourself to adapt, to know where you stand. Hence, this would be something to boast of in your resume next.
The challengesWhile challenges are a plus in this firm. Overturning them can be deterred as everyone else around you is busy facing their on challenges or tasks- a pile of them even. While the challenges are golden, there seems to be a weak support system for fresh graduates here as no one has much time to aid you from scratch on the basics. Throw in deadlines and workload, work/life balance seems impossible.
