Not a good company to work with
The good thingsThe colleagues are all nice and friendly to be with
The challengesNo support from manager. Manager lack of empathy and sympathy. Company culture did not promote teamwork. Always need to support Operation Department as they always lack staff. So need to standby working either day shift or night shift. Always need to do OT also

Awesome, but beware of huge stress!
The good thingsCompany culture is ok, supervisor up to managing director are down to earth and willing to coach and guide us towards a right direction.
The challengesA fast pacing work environment, which means if the work can't keep up, the supervisor will urge us to finish the project quickly, and mishandle it could lead to huge stress and uneven working hours, even rarely could have a good work-life balance.

    Good Working Environment
The good things1. Good managers that can lead you and give enough space for you with minimum supervision. 2. Nice colleagues as they really giving a lot of help. 3. Is good for self-development here as company provide a lot of opportunities such as training, activities and so on. 4. Polymeric is a good company if you are looking for a long term career.
The challenges1. Communication between management and low level employees can be improved and understand what they need. Even a simple question "How do you do" will do.

Lack of frame work from Management/Superiors
The good thingsCan learn the basic on chemical manufacturing workflow
The challenges1. High turnover outfit. The company has fallen into hire-and-fire cycle which make retention nearly impossible for certain key roles. 2. Lack of learning opportunities given which no learning-and-development offering from the position applied. Not suitable place for long term career goals. 3. Senior leaderships fails to adequately communicate. The management fails to deliver the value proposition and forecast of company to employee. 4. No trust from management to employees. Employees cannot deliver their best talent and become more competitive for the roles given. 5. Poor work-life balance and long working hours. Employers just focusing on the company profit without concern on the employee welfare. 6. No effort given in improving the safety at operation. No exposure and training on the safety and proper PPE given for working in hazardous environment.
