Good things - I escaped from this toxic place
The good thingsGood MNC packages, great office environment.
The challengesThe work culture was challenging, marked by bias and a lack of professionalism. There was a noticeable presence of toxic behaviour and an unsupportive environment, which hindered open communication and healthy collaboration. A friend of mine also had a negative experience during the hiring process with PPG. Despite verbal assurances and positive discussions, the offer was suddenly withdrawn just before it was formally issued. This reflects poor decision-making and a lack of respect for candidates’ time and effort. The recruitment process appeared disorganised, and the HR team demonstrated a lack of professionalism, attempting to shift blame onto candidates rather than acknowledging internal inefficiencies.

Good company but too much of manual works
The good thingsmedical coverage for family, dental also cover
The challengestoo many paperwork which not too related to JD. Too many manual things including manufacturing. Wasting time to retrieve data. Old school way of working. Management always have restructuring felt like no job security and have favoritism among blue and white collars.

The management style has been perceived as toxic, with a lack of support and an unfriendly atmosphere. This has created challenges for employees in seeking assistance and collaborating effectively.
The good thingsEmployees are eligible for the good benefits that support their well-being. Additionally, employees are allowed to work from home for up to three days per week, providing flexibility to manage both personal and professional commitments effectively.
The challengesThere are concerns regarding the work culture and dynamics within the Plant Finance Department at the PJ location. The environment has been perceived as challenging and, at times, not conducive to fostering collaboration or positive morale. The HR department at the PJ Plant has been perceived as unhelpful in addressing employee needs and concerns. There seems to be a lack of proactive support and assistance when required.

It's a good company to work with multi racial environment.
The good thingsPPG is ISO certified and always keeping track on the current status periodically. We won many awards too.
The challengesIt would be great employees voice are heard on yearly basis to know their voice are valued. These cultured are practised in US.
