Not suitable for internshipThe good thingsDeveloping electrical installation company with lots of projects going on such as MRT, hospital, commercial, factories etc. which gives opportunities to gain experience and exposure in different kinds of electrical installation engineering and project management if you are pro-active and independent.
The challengesExperience seniors are limited and overly occupied in addition with company lacks of a clear and structured training program for new staff or intern, which causes new staff lack in direction and wasting time in the early stage of entering the company. As for internship learning curve is very flat due to jobs given by seniors and supervisors are mostly quantity counting with very minimal exposure to design. Personally felt, even though being pro-active in trying to help and asking for work from seniors, yet the jobs given are still monotonous and repetitive counting with slow learning curve. Not recommended for internship if you are looking for some place to really learn and gain experience in design.
