This company requires a management revamp
The good things- Colleague are nice, helpful and friendly - A good working environment - No politics
The challenges- Poor management decisions - Late payments (Salary, EPF, PCB, etc..) - No bonus since I joined - No increment - Lacking business direction

Working here has been a frustrating experience. Management does not support their subordinates and often pushes responsibility onto others instead of taking ownership. When projects face delays, they blame a single individual instead of addressing it as a team issue. Salary is consistently late, and EPF (KWSP) contributions are also delayed. Even worse, they deduct PCB from our salary every month but do not actually pay it to LHDN. This kind of mismanagement and lack of accountability is extremely demotivating.

    Poor Top Management
The good thingsDespite given the decision to do the work, headcount management and poor decision making from the top management has left many to disappointment. Frequent changing of direction and no clear communication from the upper management towards the ground operation leaving many in ambiguity.
The challengesClear direction. Agree company need changes for the better but need to know what is the changes to begin with and what is the purpose and whether the changes allow fairness and consideration for the lower level. Inconsistent in bonus payment and salary will lead many to be demotivated.

    Fun and fast pace environment
The good thingsThe best thing to work here is that is is fast pace. It keeps you going with new way how to solve any situation. Either improvement or problem. It is good for person like me if you are logical and critical. If you are driver and analytical personality you will do wonders at product department. If you are expressive personality you will do wonder at merchandising department. At 11street you will be value as a staff. They will acknowledge you and will be rewarded accordingly. People works here come from all walks of life.
The challengesThere is buffering communication with the parent company which is SK Planet. Most of the thing you have to here is fairly semi-manual. It would be best if SK Planet would make way for 11street Malaysia to make their own decision. This buffering communication gap sometimes can delay the speed to progress and catching up our main competitor. But the perks of being the second best is we can always improve and avoid the main competitor's mistake. It is an double edged sword.

A great company to work for
The good thingsThe company is relatively new with one year plus in ecommerce. The company can be considered as a startup, and most of their employees are youngster or gen Y. The Management Team has a clear view of how keeps the company run by developing a 5-year strategic plans.
The challengesSince they are a startup, most of the work process is not clearly defined but things have been progressive in making a proper business flow guidance.

One of the greatest working experience at 11street
The good thingsGreat environment, culture & learning experience. Most importantly you have amazing and humble bosses! Great benefits and you feel appreciated as part of the team, definitely recommended to work here if you're looking for a marketing career.
The challengesWorkload & high expectation to meet in a huge corporate. Very fast paced job for an e-commerce
