    Sunset industry with no direction
    The good thingseveryone works for themselves, with lots of freedom.
    The challengesThe reason for the freedom? Because there is lack of strategic directions, especially for Asia market. Management keeps changing priorities, constant chops and changes, there's no knowing when you will be the next for the chop. No time is given, especially if you are new to the industry.

    Too many of work need to be done. Most of work is not even in work scope. Nobody actually able to help since the number of co-worker is too small.

    The good thingsLearning Opportunities, able to learn all area of factory management. Good employees benefit (cell phone, dental, Medical Benefit...). Monthly management sharing section to update factory performance to all workers. Mid Year review for those outstanding workers. Team building and training by external parties provided.
    The challengesMost of the machines >50 years old (transfer from UK). High skill & experience needed to maintain machine up-time. High direct workers turnover. Quality requirement is high as the selling price is 4~6 time higher than average market price. Market is penetrated by competitors and product is phasing out by consumer.
