A place to grow and forge meaningful relationship
The good things- People-driven culture - Big network, access to global network (inc. training, skills) - Warm, considerate yet highly professional team - Good work-life balance - Pretty good benefits too
The challenges- Working against the business as usual SOP, especially in winning over internal pitch before client pitch. While they are knowledgeable and expert in the brand they manage, they may be afraid to step out of that box. - Overall, nothing super bad, just a matter of personal will.

    Busy supervisor
The good things- Other colleagues are willing to entrust me with some tasks and teach me patiently on the procedures of doing them, and hence, I learned a lot from them. - Fortunately, I got to end my shift on time at 6pm almost everyday, unlike most of my colleagues who have to OT most of the time. - Tasks given are not repeated - Free breakfast is provided everyday
The challenges- Since my supervisor was very busy, my supervisor didn't give me a lot of tasks to do. When other colleagues did not give me tasks to do, I would end up spending the whole day doing nothing. - An assistant rather than an intern (tasks given were not meaningful)

    Worth wild
The good thingsKey learnings from this company was that it gave me the opportunity to see my capabilities in being responsible for a challenging working lifestyle. I was able to learn from my weaknesses and turn it into a source of strength in order to deliver work beyond the expected guidelines.
The challengesThe man power on each work was limited which then resulted in less work support. Besides that, people did not start with team support which made work harder in terms of understanding each others' tasks.

The good thingsLove how everyone openly greets each other, and that supervisors are almost always there to assist. Everyone's given respective tables with mini-cupboards & shelves, and makes you feel like you've got the slightest form of privacy at least.
The challengesParking's a big challenge, but other mediums of transportation's always available such as the LRT & bus.

The Culture in Leo Burnett & Advertising
The good thingsI've had very good bosses working here. They're 'doors' were always open, and they've always stood by the team through all challenges. Management is fair, they do care about the wellbeing of their staff! Colleagues from other departments are pretty easy to work with too, except you are required to invest some time to build trusting relationships with the more senior people.
The challengesSeeing that this is an advertising industry, Clients are one of the main challenges. You have to be prepared to work hard, and by this I mean be ready to work long hours - very long hours. Deadlines are sometimes ridiculous, but be assured that the Project Management team are always there to help plan projects timely. Some of the creatives are very junior, so you have to be very patient too.

The good thingsThey throw you into the deep ocean! You learn a lot being in an ad agency. Depends on your supervisor, your life will either be heaven or hell
The challengesBlending in or trying to appease my supervisor who is always picking on my every doing. Long hours, high expectations. If you mess up something, you'll pay for it dearly. Nevertheless, mistakes made are good learning grounds. Don't be afraid to make mistakes.. prewar learn from them and don't repeat them.

    Best Bar None
The good thingsColleagues have a good working synergy as each department is kind of dependent on each others success for the project to be complete. The MD then, took the trouble to make his month rounds to \"check\" on each staff on how they were progressing and always had an encouraging word to say. The company recognized behind the scene persons with the \"lonely man\" award.
The challengesHigh pressure environment as clients always wanted things delivered \"yesterday\". Due to the environment, we have to work people with different wavelengths, creative, logical and administrative mindsets.

One of the best ads agency in Malaysia
The good things- Cool working environment. - Great pace of work - Great exposure to all kinds of international level work. - Freedom to explore new and innovative technologies - Working hour is rather flexible, which is fun and enabling - One of the best ads agency to work around Kuala Lumpur - Yearly company trip to make the team stick even closer together - Get to work with people from around the world
The challenges- If you are not a good fit, you may suffer the pace of work - Though you are empowered to do what you are in charge, you basically have yourself to go up the learning curve - Working hour may sometimes creep into the wee hour due to launching new campaign/ads, but this doesn't happen too frequently - People keep leaving and fresh faces everywhere, you need to keep abreast with the team
