    Great learning place and opportunity to grow career
    The good thingsJoined as Junior Exec in Marketing, with the last position as the Acting Head of Marketing within 4-5 years of working. Opportunities are for you to grab. Exposed to every department's works to better understand the business. Many gurus and sifus with years of experience in healthcare industries (GP) which will help those who want to have career in the industry.
    The challengesTo cope with the advancement in competition. The high expectation which may lead to burning out. The lack of support to management's vision by fellow subordinates through lack of communication.

    Kind of Okay Working Here
    The good thingsWorking environment is very good. Friendly colleague. Good place for fresh graduates to learn. Some department have a very good leader. Near to the LRT station. Chance to travel within Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.
    The challengesThe salary and the benefit is below the average market. The chairman is ambitious but has no clear direction for the company. You need to work extra time to earn recognition from the bosses. High turnover rates from a certain department. Music is highly restricted and your browsing habit will be monitored. Not too responsive IT team to attend clinic issue. Not up to date with the current IT technology.

    poor management
    The good things- most of clinic staff are good and easy to work with. - able to learn and gain a lot of various experiences - good environment, friendly and helpful clinic staff - medical benefit - annual dinner - birthday gifts
    The challenges- irrational datelines - expect to work more and commit in your work - required to be multitasking and willing to do all sections/departments (ie; account, HR, clinical, finance, business development) - most departments are bad performance-ship, less cooperation given, biased (hard to work with) - no OT paid with overloaded work and urge you to work more than normal operation hours. - expect you to work 24/7 - a lot of bad influencer in corporate office, they will pick any staff name that they 'feel' not give full cooperation to do what ever report they want as to save their own carrier to the top bosses. without proper investigation and proper HR procedures, they will proceed to terminate the worker.

    The good thingswill never get the same environment at any other place. the reason still sustaining in this organisation, its is because the environment. the environment that meant here is the office peers, its either from the top management to the lower management.

    The challengesThe company is a traditional one where it is mainly owned by one individual. This could lead to a restrictive atmosphere for those who are not used to it. Internet access is highly restricted and usage is observed. In addition to that no form of music is allowed to be played - with or without headphones.

    The good thingsInitial stage - Back in 1998 first 8 years everything was harmonious, later the company expanding and bring a lot of new faces with bad aura full of dirty politics. The doctors are good. The management I can't say much. Work and experience it for yourself.
    The challengesYou have to cope up with politics, kaki kipas, kaki cucuk in order to climb up the career ladder. Which I felt insecure and that is why I left the organisation.

    The good thingsEnvironment with good bosses and helpful colleagues. Benefits are OK compared those employers who really have nothing except epf. Good learning floor for those newly graduates and also expertise. Have learning point to be professionals.
    The challengesWork load but it is more simple when you have good and helpful bosses n staffs. Dealing with people where can motivate and strengthen our skills and communications in business environments. Learning new tasks n skills.

    The good thingsIt's a good career to get into if you're looking for work/life balance as your hours will usually be 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. At particularly busy times there might be some overtime. It's an office based job. Don't expect to spend a lot of time at your desk though as there's lot to be seen to around the office. As you'll be greeting visitors you should always look well presented to make a go
