    Modern Working environment
The good thingsBeing a teacher here for a year. Very challenging working environment where I need to equip myself with good IT skills as the school teaching method is advanced by using IT tools. Children are happy with this exposure. I love this modern type of International School set up.

    Great Working Experiences I had
The good thingsWhat I like most about the company is work-life balance. I work happily here and the company also offers good pay with benefits. This is the third company I am working for, and I feel this is the best in terms of salary and career growth. For the department, I am glad that I have supportive team members. We always support each other in all the projects that we handle.
The challengesAbit of challenges is sometimes communication between departments having issues, quite last minutes. That's why we always follow through closely with the departments who requested help to avoid breakdown of communication.

    Good Job satisfaction.
The good thingsI am glad to have the opportunity to work for this company because the company is giving me support, guidance and job satisfaction as well as I can get new things to learn. The work environment is good and safe also. Besides, staff is helpful and able to work together to solve problems. The company also recognised my efforts and contributions which made me feel like I was a valued member of the company. Nevertheless, the company also encourages employees to share ideas, knowledge and make suggestions.
The challengesDifferent learning challenges amongst student.

The challengesNeed to understand the student's different learning style, so far I have managed to cope with my work.

Happy staff working here with happy mood
The good thingsI'm happy working here because my colleagues were so helpful and we work happily together for all the events/ projects that we have set in order to achieve the end results. I can feel the synergy among all the departments is very strong.
The challengesIn view of the high expectations from the school and parents, we need to constantly upgrade the teaching facility to maintain the quality of teaching. Hence, the academic and non academic team will always discuss this matter to fulfil the requirements.

Happy teaching here for 2 years
The good thingsI'm happy teaching here because my colleagues were not only accommodating but also very friendly. The staff meals are enjoyable, and the school heavily subsidises them, so I only pay very minimal.
The challengesAccommodating to school and parent's high expectations was a challenge to me, but luckily the principal is always there to guide me and colleagues always support me.

The challengesno free meal here, bad facilities, unprofessional and unreasonable principal. don't ever think about increment and bonus. high turn over, too many open days and workshop, short holidays, well this is a good place for retiree if you don't mind to take up the work and parents stress here.

Working here is quite stressful of long term growing in terms of salary and bonus
The good thingscaring colleagues, but turn over rate also high. nice classrooms and facilities. high technology usage, good to learn. Use macbook and apple TV for teaching, school will loan laptop/ipad to teachers. Creative teaching is encouraged.
The challengesdon't expect increment and bonuses. The high level management will try to deduct your increments by various reasons even you score outstanding in your performance appraisal. Be careful when you sign any contract. Sometimes, you need to sign another policy during your half way of working. Quite challenging to deal with the management. You need to pay for your lunch at the school cafeteria.

    Great System.
The good thingsI love working with kids, but what is also important is that I can do my best within the Rafflesia’s system and approach that provides us with the necessary tools, flexibility and support. I think I’m going to be here for the foreseeable future!

    Unique Education System
The good thingsI have been an educator for over a decade, but this has been my first time working at a school that combines the academic emphasis of the ‘Asian approach’ with the holistic, experiential learning ‘Western approach’. And I find it to be an extremely effective mix.
The challengesi hardly find anything which i dislike other then the traffic situation.

    Consideration of Ideas
The good thingsBeing in the education industry for over a decade, it is motivating and refreshing when  my ideas are actually taken into consideration, and some of them have become a reality as long as it is justified. This is the way to go.

    Supportive team
The good thingsIt takes a lot of patience and passion to be a good educator. Which is why I appreciate the fact that I have very supportive colleagues and a good management here.
The challengesThe very nature of being a good educator is the main challenge no matter where you work.
