Some colleagues are the only highlight of the company.
The good thingsNo pressure to work over time.
The challengesUnrealistic pressure and KPI. Biasness and favoritism from the bosses. Cussing in meetings. Micromanaging. They dislike it when you have to take medical leave and because they do not allow wfh - you're forced to come it or take leave.

    Avid financial journalist dream
The good thingsThe fast pace business model and desire to constantly innovate and step ahead of other peers. While business remains a priority, it is also worthy to note that the people working in here are utterly supportive and congenial! Just need to ask, they'll show the way. Last but not least, the opportunity to learn new things, meet industry experts, participate in high profile events and be part of the Islamic finance growth story.
The challengesNot so flexible working hour (since Im living 1 hour away), some facilities are a little outdated, grumpy workmates alert.

    Not the best place
The good thingsSome of the good things: 1) The monthly 'Makan-makan' gatherings and the extravagance of the festivity lunches. 2) Some colleagues and comrades 3) Location of office next to the LRT which makes it easy to move above traffic 4) Mostly everyone leaves on time after work so no staying back late and pretending to work for extra brownie points.
The challenges1) Less favouritism by management which has created a huge divide and demotivation amongst staff 2) More trustable human resource department that does not share details of your salary or gossip about staff to other colleagues 3) Less cynicism and racial jokes by management on subordinates that create demotivation and anger among employees
