If you like living hell treatment, work here!
The good thingsJust low basic salary.
The challenges1.24/7 Working Hours Expectation to be available at all times without clear boundaries. 2.Unequal Treatment of Contract Staff Required to take responsibility when things go wrong because of contractual status. Different treatment compared to permanent staff. 3.Constantly Changing Directions Example: Supervisor sets a deadline (e.g., December 25). When questioned by Director, the same supervisor denies giving permission for deadlines, creating confusion and accountability issues. 4.Lack of Timely Communication Example: Vendor asked to fly in on Monday, communicated during a Friday night meeting. Later (Monday 1 a.m.), IT Head reverses decision, saying no approval was given, and blames you for miscommunication. Creates unnecessary stress and unfair blame.

Pros and cons at your own risk
The good thingsGood payout salary. Advance salary payout during festive season. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner for free. Staff discount and free ticket
The challengesToxic environment to work in. Conflict between crew or even manager. Always have to clear queue fast, rather than they focus on crew wellness if they are trying their best in safety position.

Worked for 10 years and let me breakdown for you
The good things1) Scheduling is flexible as you can request off and rest (Before covid) 2) Offers scholarship programme if you intend to continue studying. But depends on your performance rating as there is a requirement to meet. 3) Free meals ( If you are not fussy. But if you hate canteen food then it may not be a good point for you) 4) You don't need to bring back your work clothes as they have a department to clean it for you. You just drop off your dirty clothes and get a new one next day. 5) They will send you out for courses. (First Aid, CPR, AED, Service etc)
The challenges1) Working hours changed due to covid. Previously it used to be 10-7pm. But now it had to be changed to 2-9pm. No work-life balance. 2) Working days are fixed due to covid. Thurs-Sun = No offs on weekends unless you use up your own leave. 3) Inconsistent information from top management. 4) Pay is quite low although you have diploma onwards. 5) No free parking around the resort for staff if you are driving to work. 6) No 13 month bonuses for Executive onwards. 7) Recognition at work depends on your relationship with your bosses.

The good thingsMeals are provided. Many opportunities to network.
The challengesAbsolutely no work life balance, bosses will expect that you work OT as and when necessary, pathetic starting pay if you don't have a plethora of experiences before joining company and worse, HR always mess up payroll. Processes are so backward and troublesome, even submission of MC can't be done online
