    Transferring risk to job candidates
    The good thingsDisadvantages outweigh advantage
The challengesThe recruiter’s communication has been highly unprofessional, and the outcomes often change after internal discussions. They required me to pay upfront buyout fees to my previous employer, but only agreed to issue an agreement outlining reimbursement details once payment and proof of receipt were provided. This process effectively transfers all the risk to job candidates. The reimbursement is spread over six months, and if I choose to leave before that period, they will not cover the remaining buyout fees. Additionally, if probation is not successfully completed, I will not receive full reimbursement. In essence, candidates are forced to pay upfront just to secure the job.

    Despicable company.
The good thingsthe disadvantages outweigh the advantages
The challenges Had a very disappointing experience with CLPS Malaysia. From the start, communication was poor and inconsistent. During the interview process, I was explicitly told that the hiring manager was comfortable with my long notice period. However, immediately after I signed the offer letter, the tone changed completely. The company demanded I move my onboarding date forward and went as far as threatening to rescind the offer and offboard me if I didn't comply. To make matters worse, they were unwilling to make full payment for my buyout fees from my previous employer. Despite paying my previous employer, this company would only reimburse me in 6-month installments. Furthermore, per their 'policy,' if resign before that period is up, the remaining balance would be forfeited. This feels less like a reimbursement and more like a tactic to trap employees. This lack of integrity and high-pressure tactics are significant red flags for any prospective employee.
