    A slowly deteriorating company; from people-first to cost-saving-first
    The good thingsThe openness and inclusive culture remained intact throughout the years, regardless of the company's performance. The management also took the initiative to recognise employees' contribution during MCO, especially the field support team.
    The challengesCompany is not being honest in their cost-cutting measure and prefer to sugar-coat cost-cutting schemes as a "standardisation". Travel allowance were reduced based on the justification that amount of business travel by staff had reduced based on data collected during MCO (how to travel if the government doesn't allow us to travel?). The recent restructuring gave an impression that the top management is "purging" the company of high-salaried long-time employees. This affected the operation efficiency of the company. Approvals are now very late, logistics is also a mess now, and employees are expected to take on additional new roles without compensation review.

    Slowly Deteriorating
    The good thingsGood for newly graduate for experience in diagnostics business and salary is slightly above average.
    The challengesBenefit is slowly slash over the years and you better prepare for your exit plan especially after 5 years and above. They tend to replace old staff. Company have lotsa red-tape and slowpop in reaction to market.

    Things are tightening
    The good thingsGood benefit and working environment is good but depends who you report to or which department you join. Less stress and life are laid back if you join at the executive level yet salary higher than the market rate.
    The challengesBenefit are slowly and surely withdrawn/cut. But still the best around when you compared to other medical company. But if you’re too relax and have don’t care attitude, be prepared to be PIP-ed by your immediate superior.

    The good thingsThe perks and benefit. The check-in concept with your manager is good. Not sure if other company have this as well since this is my first company.
    The challengescareer advancement and not a clear job scope. there's no clear job scope and proper training for my position since I started to join and there're many top level management and seniors which the expectations on you would differ and it's confusing sometimes.

    Good Benefit but Bad Career Advancement
    The good thingsThe company is good at benefit like breakfast offered, flexible working hour, remote from home some more good and quality of office atmosphere. The company office located at perfect and business strategy which attracting employee work at nicely working environment. Opportunity to adapt multi-culture enviroment and growth with global strategy and advance technology.
    The challengesThe career advancement designed terribly especially for the middle and low level of employee. Therefore, existing employee unable to foresee their future for the existing role, there is quite limited opportunity for Finance division. Office political happened between employees due to limited career advancement issue, no very clear and transparent of the decision maker by high management, it is creating a negative working environment for employee.

    The good thingsA lot of opportunities to be sent out for overseas training (for employee self-development), opportunities to meet up with different bunch of people (RDMY customers span from big government hospitals to small privately-owned healthcare institutions) and great salary+allowances+benefits package.
    The challengesPrice erosion in the healthcare sect poses the biggest challenge (to operate effectively under tight budgets and stricter controls). For service personnel, expect long hours of working (on-calls, standbys) and no peace of mind during Public Holidays. Expect to be working under minimal supervision as well.
