ExecutiveThe good thingsBefore the merger, the company had a more open culture, whereby most employees are able to confront their superior when a conflict arises. Also, the company had good organization values, i.e. honesty. Prior to the merger, it was a relative smaller organization, thus resulting in a rather close-knitted family among the employees - less office politics.
The challengesAfter the merger, there was undoubtedly clash in company values when the 2 distinct companies came together though they originate from the same industry type. Top management comprised mostly of key personnel from the other company. The other company practices more of a 'I ask, you do - no questions asked' culture. This proves to be a struggle for employees from ROCKWOOL (formerly known as ROXUL).
