    Underpaid and Limited Career Progression
The good thingsChance to interact with HQ and gain some international exposure
The challengesYoung team with limited experience, making it harder to get guidance or references. Communication with HQ can be challenging due to language differences (Japanese-style English). Salary, bonus, and increment are relatively low and decided mainly by the MD, with limited transparency. Despite strong company profits, employee rewards are quite conservative. Overall, not ideal if you are looking for competitive pay or fast growth.

A great place to begin your career and develop your skills
The good thingsworking experience in a Japanese corporate culture. on-time salary payments, and good teamwork.
The challengesThe Japanese-English communication can be hard to understand at first. Besides, promotions and salary increases seem to be influenced by favoritism. There are many reasons given for decisions, which can be challenging to navigate. Lack of fairness in how opportunities are awarded.

    Good kickstart for fresh grad
The good thingsGood platform to learn. Roland is the first musical instrument manufacturing company in Malaysia. Basically, bosses and expatriates are empathy and appreciate your effort. If you wish to learn something new in manufacturing or musical line, Roland is a very good place. Colleagues are generally helpful and understanding. A very good working environment indeed!
The challengesSalary and remuneration package is not so good. The working hour is too long. (8am-6pm)

Good learning platform and condusive working culture!
The good thingsGood corporate culture and helpful colleagues... Work directly with Japanese expatriates and understand their thoughts, beliefs, and working cultures... A good learning platform for fresh grads... Close relationship among co-workers... No politics...
The challengesThe salary is above average... Since the company is new, many aspects are yet to be well-established... But it provides an opportunity for the young people to perform and think and act out of the box...

    Tough Job
The good things1. Get to know how music instruments (piano, drum, DJ console and amplifier) are made (for those who have passion in music) 2. Good pay. Can earn extra money if you work hard. In some departments, you have to do overtime almost every working day. Saturdays are regular. 3. individual talents/uniqueness are cherished.
The challenges1. A newly established company in Malaysia, no proper guideline (yet) / training for the new employees. New employees often feel lost. 2. Too high of expectations towards new employees. 3. Unattractive/less benefits 4. Lack of safety measures
