    Great team to work with
The good thingsThe company is really open minded and willing to explore associates talent while driving them to success.
The challengesWorking with media and events is hard work. Despite maybe long hours and crunch times, the experience was rewarding and pleasant.

Fast-paced. Dynamic. Great Clientele. Inclusive. Some stress
The good thingsThe company is growing with fun and supportive colleagues. Senior management encourage you to try. Flat management and bosses are quite hands on. Seniors take time to teach and coach. Quite a few new colleagues this year.
The challengesNeed to be quick on your toes. Struggled in the first 3 months because of the pace as we need to work with different departments and different clients. Almost wanted to give up but glad I didn't.

Great team mates and clientele. Challenging projects
The good thingsDespite covid there's a lot of support from team mates and also management increasingly utilise technology like slack to help teams to communicate and work together with each other. I am relatively new so there was a lot of strong support to get on board and my bosses are all very easily accessible.
The challengesI only see my teammates 2 times a week because now we are still on hybrid mode. There's quite a bit of flexibility but you have to really manage your own time because some of the projects are quite demanding.

    Friend Bosses
The good thingsThe bosses are down to earth and no hierarchy in the company structure. They do practice open-minded environment here and encourage feedback. You don't get bosses saying Hi to you whenever you bump into them. Can see the continuous improvement from time to time.
The challengesThere are always bad apples wherever you work at and it's similar here. SOP and procedure is getting into place but some couldn't get used to it.

Working at ROOTS has definitely increased my EQ level.
The good thingsROOTS has taught me many things when it comes to event planning. When I first started working here, my event planning skills were very low. After working here, and meeting plenty of new people, I have increased my management and execution skills beyond my expectations.
The challengesUnfortunately, management could use a little tweaking. However, I am sure in the years to come this will be resolved as they are finally noticing that there many in the upper management level who are the cause of the high turnover in the company.

    Down to earth bosses
The good thingsPeople around the office are easy to work with and friendly. Many opportunities to work with other departments in the marketing field, the company always chase for new technology and improve from within.
The challengesBenefits could be improved. Eateries around the area are pricy.

    PR Department
The good thingsi work in the PR Department, and i like that the working culture is very family oriented, and opportunities to do great things are abundance.
The challenges- The light and air circulation. - you'd require to multitask most of the time, and it can be stressful.

    A friendly working experience
The good thingsThe working environment is very friendly, and everything was a step away. The working experience is also very calm and cosy. The best thing that the company did was to separate different departments into different building across the street but still being a distant that is reachable whenever collaboration exists.
The challengesThe parking spots were hard to find, and the food around the area has a really pricey menu.
