Overall good but wish to get better team.
The good thingsGood environment inside office, got free drink to make like tea, coffee machine, milo. They have a vending machine but with cheaper price. The office located really next to LRT Abdullah Hukum which really convenient. But most convenient is you are free to wear anything you like, except for rotten jeans, overexpose body parts. You can just wear round neck t-shirt with your blue jeans and sport shoes even as intern. You'll get more exposure towards how corporate office looks like when working.
The challengesAs an intern in the Consumer Electronics division, my experience was mixed. FYI your leave will be counted as unpaid leave, you get paid end of month. Good things are you can claim parking fee, but the procedure kind of complicated. Unfortunately, I faced challenges due to a lack of engagement from my team, which limited my learning opportunities and daily tasks. There were many idle moments as my teammates were often too occupied to delegate work or involve me in meaningful activities. However, I’m grateful to Joanna, a new team member who gave me a chance to support her on several tasks, allowing me to gain some practical experience before the end of my internship. I also wish there had been better communication and support from management, as delays in signing my evaluation form caused me to miss the submission deadline.

A place to learn but not a place to growth.
The good thingscan learn many things as there are rarely have people to guide you. While on job you only can learn.
The challengeseveryone in here are good Tai Chi master they push here and there and you need to find solution from different department. Bias, if your post are lower they will easily ignore whatever your request.

Good for brand reputation sake, but comes with a price.
The good thingsReputable brand, salary on time, benefit so-so, KL Eco City is a maze but there is public transport. Good location next to Midvalley.
The challengesDepends on your department but overall feels like military style, not much room to voice out, follow the rules, many unspoken rules, getting coffee for bosses, tedious approval processes, high turnover, immense pressure, no work-life balance.

    Former staff, contract role
The good thingsEmployee benefits such as quarterly departmental lunch, staff purchase discount, claimable OT, parking allowance
The challengesNo growth opportunities as most employees are contract basis, “communist” management which implies lots of unreasonable request thinking they are the top company in the world and everyone should obey to them.

Fun and engaging, with a touch of stress
The good thingsThe environment was challenging and competitive, but it instills confidence in me when the work submitted by me was deemed good and accepted for further testing and consulting purposes.
The challengesProviding accurate answers is one thing, but taking into consideration regarding the cost and sustainability of the system will ultimately affect the final selection and the need to justify such an action is truly challenging in my opinion.

Room for improvement @ Marketing Department
The good things1. Well established reputable branding company 2. The best place to train independent, patient and high survival skill 3. Good location
The challenges1. Colleagues are not friendly in the department. 2. Work life not balance - It's impossible to leave work on time 3. Willing to do job out of your scope (eg. help your boss buy coffee or even run errands for somebody) 4. Management become more hierarchical - a very typical Korean Management Style

    No Work Life Balance
The good thingsFlexi working hour, operation hour from 830am to 530pm, but you can start to work at 730am, but you need to reach office before 930am, after 930am will be late in. FOC outdoor parking.
The challengesOT, Stress, High turn over, Heavy workload. All these are very normal to work at Samsung. Stupid KPI set by top management. If you want to go home on time, then this company not suitable for you. Korean bosses not listen to your advice , no process improvement and proper SOP.

Good company to start your career
The good thingsEmployee compensation & benefits is taken care by HR to its employee such as Meal and transport allowance etc, 'Great working place' concept such as breakfast distribution every Monday, Team building, having monthly townhall to understand company directions and current challenges.
The challengesToo much last minute works and short times given to complete it, if given more times, planning and discussion can be done along the plan for better execution.

Learn how to manage your works in Korean ways
The good thingsMicro management process. If you did wrong thing, its your HOD will correct your mistake by telling you the correct ways.
The challengesTo much work. When 1 co-worker left, the position will be left empty. Thus, you need to do 2 person's jobs.
