The good thingsA good learning curve where they will train you up to face the market both commercially and technically. Up to date marketing team to help you run the show. One of the most tech-savvy company in the engineering field.
The challengesMainly focusing on major industries in the market and they tend to fall behind when there is a recession. You might need to be sharp in handling the general industry to counter all the downturns if it happens.

The only constant, is the change
The good thingsIt was a regional role hence, traveling and visiting different countries and experiencing different cultures was a great experience. There was a chance to build and understand not only for customers perspective but also the diverse culture of colleagues from different parts of the world.
The challengesDue to the different challenges both internal and externally to cope with market conditions, the management had to make significant changes. With the constant changes, the executives fight to stay alive in the company by ways of not competency but more off political motives. However typically in a large organization it is difficult to get noticed hence career advancement becomes a challenge.
