Good place to excel as independent contributor, but do not expect fair monetary or promotion rewards. The good thingsGreat place to learn and practise standard healthcare guidelines. Accredited hospital. Generally a supportive and caring environment. Lots of chances to have interdepartmental relationships via work or sports activities. Majority of colleagues and management are thankfully sincere in providing best treatment for patients. Stable job, good for those looking for balanced work/life experience.
The challengesPerforming staff are awarded with more work. Non-performing staff get to do less. Increment and bonus are steady and minimal, around or below 3%. All similar-band staff gets the same amount of increment regardless of mediocre or high performance. Hard to get recognition for good work as recognition may translate to the need to give monetary or promotion rewards, which the company tries not to give. Poor career advancement.
