    First job
The good thingsExposed to new things and exeperiences - how to promote courses and encourage sign ups, advertising and public relations, especially dealing with parents and the media. Learnt how to manage an office, Got the opportunity to travel regularly throught out Malaysia at education fairs and schools visit. Taught me how to be independent and confident when talking in front of large crowds.
The challengesDifficult bosses. Some senior managers were reluctant to see me grow or climb the corporate ladder. Sometimes I was left to discover things/procedures on my own. Colleagues were sometimes not helpful. They had their own small groups and didn't welcome newbies.

The good thingsIt was a very good training ground for me to establish my teaching career. I was given the opportunity to teach many subjects and at different levels.I had the experience to teach diploma students, degree students and the part-time classes/evening classes. Stamford also provide a lot of training, seminar, workshop to enhance our skills further.
The challengesI was given many classes, hours of teaching per week is high between 24 hours to 32 hours. A lot of other paper works to submit which take up a lot of your time. Students come from different background, some are intelligence and some are weak. I also have a lot of international students in my class, some of them could not even speak a work of English language.
